This is my extra credit wiener dog. I made it because the wheels were all taken, and this idea popped in my mind. I haven't had a chance to glaze it, as the kilns are closed off, but I like how it came out. It is made out of about ten pich pots, so it took a while to do. But, I like the end product, and I think ill glaze it brown.
This is my extra credit vase. I folded the lip in, which turned out better than I expected. Also, to glaze it, I combined a little bit of blue, with a lot of white. I really liked how it turned out like a pale blue. It reminds me of a cool, kind of blue sky. I really like the shape though. This is my choice project. I really like how it came out. The handle is the right size, and I wish I could copy the glaze. I spray glazed it, which was a very fun way of doing it. I hope to be able to do that more as the year continues. I really like how it fades in and out. This is my third set of three. Honestly, I really do like it. The glaze came out really wired, and the things dripped down. Next time, I will experiment with a glaze on a project that I do like. Lesson learned. However, I did like the shape. The detail was in flowed and hearts. This Is my wheel altered project. It is a cow. I made the bottom on the wheel, by using a closed project. Then, I used a pinch pot for the head, as well as the arms. I like how it came out, but next time I think I will smooth it down more. I had a hard time making the closed project, but it eventually worked out after a few try's. l This is my second project out of three. I like this one a lot better than the first. The detail came out really well. I used a new method of applying glaze by dabbing the brush to make a lot of little smudges. It has wavy lines to seperate off little sections. Overall it reminds me of fire. I like how it came out. This is my set of three vase. My theme for the set of three was three detailed projects. I painted black glaze on top of shadow green, but it never showed up because the green was so dark. I can tell where I tried to put black glaze, but it didn't work very well. I hope that my next 2 projects will turn out better. |
