This is my landscape Painting. It was a painting of a field with a fence in front and mountains and tress in the back. It was actually very difficult. I made the mistake of starting with rhe front at first, and so I had to switch and try to start from the back instead. The concept of value played a huge role in this painting. I had to blend colors to make the different hues connect well, not just a bunch of bold lines and shapes. It was interesting to see how doing this made the features pop and look almost real. I also had to use the concepts of shadow, and how that played a role in the realistic look. Overall, I learned to paint what I see, not what I want to see.
