This is my first plate. I painted a cow on it to give it a simple, but cute design. I made it for my friend Abby. I had to use both fists to pull out the clay. To make the jar top, I closed the project off by choking it, and then used a pin tool to take the top part off. This is my set of three. In order to make these pumpkins, I had to learn to make a closed project. I struggled with getting the bowl the right thickness so that I could close it. I tried to glaze them orange and give them a harvest theme. I hand made the leaves, and the spirals. |
